Le Parc Tellure

An ideal tourist site for an original family outing in Alsace

Tellure takes you along the trail of the silver hunters. Many were the miners looking for fortune who exploited the seams of the Val d'Argent valley. The mine of Saint Jean Engelsbourg that you will see in Tellure was worked from 1550 to 1908. The mine roads form a vast underground network that is totally safe and accessible to very young children as well.

For the more sporty visitors who are looking for extraordinary experiences, the Tellure park offers 6 potholing circuits. Children aged 8 can start learning the sport, which involves abseiling over more than 80 metres; potholing is safe and supervised by an instructor of the French potholing federation (Fédération Française de Spéléologie).
